Foundation Stage

The nursery education programme planning reflects both Montessori and traditional teaching methods. The stepping-stones approach is incorporated from the DFES Curriculum Guidance for the foundation stage and these are related to Early Learning Goals. The Nursery Teacher co-ordinates planned activates to help meet the diverse needs of the child, so that the child is prepared when they start school.

At the end of each day, you will receive an update about the progress of your child, you will also be invited to attend a parents’ evening on a regular basis so that you can discuss your child’s progress and development.
